'This ring was quite important in my life. I have been doing my foundation gemology course recently and it was a purchase I made using my knowledge I had learnt and it showed me how much I had learnt and it gave me confidence in my abilities as a gemologist. It was listed as moonstone but from the pictures I was sure it was an opal ring. I took a risk. When it arrived I was over the moon as it was and it made me very excited. I love opals and I am going to convert the ring into a lovely brooch I can wear.

It is a very important piece to me.'
